Jay Salpekar, MD, FANPA, FAES, DFAACAP, is an associate professor of psychiatry and neurology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD. He is Medical Director, Neuropsychiatry in Epilepsy Clinical Program at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, also in Baltimore. His recent research activities include identifying seizure localization or seizure types that may be more likely associated with neuropsychiatric conditions, and exploring treatment options available to persons with epilepsy and neuropsychiatric comorbidity. He has presented at PAINWeek and BRAINWeek.
