“According to the NIMH and the Annals of Neurology, >45 million Americans suffer from mental illness and >100 million are afflicted by broader CNS disorders. This broad array of complex illnesses are oftentimes diagnosed and treated in frontline settings.”
Developed by the PAINWeek organization – now in its 16th year of exceptional pain management education – BRAINWeek provides live and digital activities addressing the most frequently diagnosed conditions encountered in clinical practice, with an emphasis on collaborative care among specialists and frontline practitioners. The 2022 conference agenda will include courses on the impact of COVID-19, bipolar depression, dementia, epilepsy, hearing loss, migraine, multiple sclerosis, sleep, and stroke, as well as special interest sessions on rare CNS disorders such as Dravet syndrome, Rhett syndrome, and spinal muscular atrophy.
